"Classic to Sophisticated Luxury"

As you can see from the before pictures, the homeowners color palette all flowed nicely throughout the home and each room had a pop of color and faux technique that was unique. The walls were all faux painted including the striped Dining Room, Kitchen backsplash and accent walls, no wallpaper to remove, just paint over it. How sweet is that!

Well, it was time for an update and the homeowners wanted a more peaceful atmosphere to relax in but still wanted a pop of color to achieve the “WOW”. Many people are skeptical of painting a wall black but when you already have black accents going on, it totally makes sense in the whole color scheme. I say go for it! Adding a faux metallic texture over the black wall and some glitsy stenciling gave it more pizzazz with a touch of elegance that was needed for the room, as you can see, it truly looks amazing.  Metallic textures over some of the tan walls also gave it more depth and coziness that they were looking for.

Next were the window treatments to pull everything together. Custom silk fabrics were chosen in the black and tan families and window treatments were designed, made and installed. Since the color palette is all neutrals, any pop of color with accessories will be phenomenal.

Stay tuned for more to come when new accessories are added!
